SP-4 Wilson, Sorry for the late responce. I was in Co. C 2nd Plt 4th Sqd. as a Machine gunner. Capt. Goff was my CO. Lt. Mellom was XO, we called him Melon because he was not very smart. Sgt. Dick was 1st Sgt. The first day he was there, he called formation to let us know who he was. He said, ” If somebody tells you that you don’t know Dick, you tell them, Oh yes I do!”. The batt. Co. was Col. Berry. One of my buddies was Nelson J. Guterreiz. He was former Airborne and he would get drunk and jump from the 2nd flr. window of his room, we wpuld find sleeping on lawn in the morning. Remember Honey at the EM club? have a good life SP-4 Wilson, Jerry Timmons
