   SFC John M. Stotz, my father, was stationed at Schleißheim Army Airfield from around 62 – 64 when he retired and remained in the area for several years working as a civilian. Not sure what his position was in the company. I used to visit him while going to High School in Wiesbaden. I met a few of the men in his company as well as some of the retirees staying in the area, all were a great group of guys, sorry to say, I do not remember their names.. My Dad passed away in 1999.

   I recall that you was already at the company when I arrived. I can remember that you loaned me civilian clothes and showed me around the area.

   if anyone out there knows of the where abouts of john fuller and joe breguccia, i think john was from N.C. and joe was from NYC. if anyone out there remembers me feel free to contact me.

   I was stationed with the 661st TC from 1964 – 1966 and worked in the engine shop, those were really the good ole days, being so close to munich, and then there was garmisch & berchtesgaden a little to the south. I came back to germany in 1968, to hanau aaf, fliegerhorst kaserne in langendiebach. I retired in 1984, and live in tennessee.

     ray, very funny,i spent 2 yrs at the country club {schleissheim} and my last year at f’horst. great days&nights. was with hd&hd 8th trans[medic]. 2 yr vet at octoberfest und bin ich viele mals zuruck gewesen. ich liebe auch deutschland und verstandlich, bayern ist am besten. viele gruess, der eddie[1962-1963

     I too was in the 661st from January 1965 to October 1965 when I trransfered to Fort Riley, Kansas on my way to Vietnam in January, 1966. Joined teh 605th Trans in Fort Riley.

     I worked in the hanger, CH-34s, CH-37s etc.

     I was with the 661st Transportation Co. from 1966-67. My Company Commander was first Major Hoffman, then Captain Whitson. I was the dispatcher, operating from the motor pool.
