    I was stationed at Rivers Barracks 1955-1956, I was a clerk in S-3 of the 5th Engineers, any one there at the same time?

    I was born in November of 1987 in geissen,I’m searching for my father whose name is Terry Edwards. He was stationed in River Barracks C Battery 2-92. F.A during. 1986-1987. If you have any information at all please do not hesitate to respond. Asap. Thank you and best wishes.

    I was stationed at Rivers Barracks February, 1968, to Jan 1969, A-Battery 6th BN 9th Field Artillery, 175 MM Sps My Gun was the ACE OF SPADES, it sat right at the first gate in to the TRACK YARD, I was there in Rivers again in 2002 October, I was part of TASKFORCE KEYSTONE, OEF/OIF Build Up for the gulf, we had been sent to K-Town,
    Kaiserslautern, from July 2002 to January 29th 2003, The buildings are still there 3/79th , 2/92FA, 6/9th, and the HEADSHEAD is there but all the Motor pools are gone, the Theather, the Club, the Pohto Shop the wash rack, all gone, the Buildings of Billets are there and surrounded by CYCLONE FENCING, and WEEDS TO THE HILT…
    It was sad………………….where I parked my track, it was a Toyota Dealers Lot.

      I was in svc. 6/9 bn maintenace 1981-1983 but ran in to you in 128FSB pa nat. guard

    I use to go to the Church in Rivers Barracks from 1978-80/81 in Giessen
    Also to the Capri Club there onpost…Anybody else too?

    I was station at River Barracks, 1958 and 1959. I was a Medic attached to the 92nd Artillery. I had agreat time and the guys in the Medics were great. I was the only Draftee in the group. The guys razed me all the time. Most of them were lifers!
    I did return to Giessen on a Buisness trip in1994. Not the same town! New roads etc.

      I was in the 2/92 Artillery from 2/67 until 7/69. It was a nice area with not too many GI’s. Haven’t been back since but I will make the trip one day.
