Hi ! A friend of mine looking for his father, who was stationed in Karlsruhe in the period
1967-1972 .His last name : Mathis
His Son Brian was born on March 30,1967.
Who Remembers him ?
Is there anyone who knows my grandfather? He’s called Mr. Isensee and was Director of Engeneering and Housing in Karlsruhe and Ettlingen for at least 20 years until he retired in 1984!
He’s now turning 92 and is interested in what became of the people he worked with back then. He randomly tells stories about a man called “Emmerson” and one they called “Flyboy”. If there’s anyone out there who can remember my grandfather please write me an e-mail!
Richard Martin What year was you there? I wass with the 77th from 61 to 63. Also tipped a few beers in Rastatt. Like to hear from You. My email is wodonnell1@roadrunner.com

I worked @ Group Hq 39th.. Special orders clerk after having been reassigned from the 79th Engr A Co Neureute. Loved the Deutches Ecke and Rosies in the village of Neureute. We were all over doing construction, Wildflecken,Pirmasens, even 3 months in Tent City Toul,France if I remember. Great bunch of guys. At group Hqs,Thomas the red head worked w/me, I used to teach him a little German and we used to work out together, he was dating a Fraulein in the village, also Amerigo Proia,..I went to Italy w/him Bruce Delassus, Don Stefanos,if I spelled that right. He married Brigitte, the German girl in Rastatt,in fact he took a discharge while in Germany then re-enlisted,ended up spending 20 years in Army, he visited me in MD in 2000..Serge Matulich was company clerk. Ich habe doch heimweh nach Deutschland. Spader, der Martin
