   I was stationed at Prinz Eugene from 73 to 74 and would like to hear from anyone from that time frame, I was Club Manager and worked at the site in Tech Supply. I had contact with most everyone there through the club. Any information would be appreciated.

   I was with the 512th, in the personnel dept, from Aug 66 til about Jan 68. I loved the whole experience of the 510th/512th, Gunzburg, all the small towns, partying, andthe great friends l had. In Jan 68, I went to the 84th missile detachment, in Grossenstigen until Feb 69, when I was discharged at Ft Dix.

   I was stationed with the 510th at Prinz Eugen, from Nov. 1972 to Nov, 1974. Worked at the Site in Tech Supply and managed the NCO Club part of the time.

   Gary,

   I was in the 510th (mostly) from July 66 to June 68. I spent some time on staff in the 512th as well. We overlap.

   One of my craziest memories is when captain Herb (?) Odom bought a miniature Greek ass with the unit fund. Zorba was a piece of work and a real source of hilarity.

   Frau Beck, the putzfrau, was fond of him and would carry carrots over to him. He would start hee-hawing as soon as he saw her and would drop his manhood in appreciation. I remember one time when most everyone was getting ready for PT and Zorba swiped somebody’s fatigue jacket. He lead the whole company on a merry chase.

   I was stationed at Prinz Eugen Kaserne July 1965- December 1966. Looking for anyone that was there at the same time.I took my wife back to the base in ’92. Didn’t get to go on the Base was under German control then and didn’t see any need for me to be there. I just wanted to see if all those trees we planted were still growing. Glad to hear from any of you guys.
