Hi all, I was in Regensburg from Nov, 73 to March, 76. 24d20 & 121-f–. I worked with Marty Ellis, Frank Klister, Dale Doss, Sgt Wilbur, Blue Lippencott was just an e2, so was Witherspoon. I was rooming with Jim Triggs, hanging with Jack Hall, Bill Bomaritto, Joe Martinez, Bill Bailey, Fred Armuller, John Jimenez (I was the best man at his wedding) and his beautiful wife Sigi.
I’m looking for my buds from the Atillier and just any of my old chess players.
I was stationed at Pioneer Kaserne Regensburg Germany from 1982-84.. Anyone that knows me get a hold of me! I remember Lt Gacis, Celena Porter, Kristi Karns, Patricia Hutchcraft, Miles, Skip WIlliams, John Dewolf, We had a band in the attic with Red damn so long ago cant remember all the names.. LOL
Hello Keith,
I too was stationed at Pioneer Kasern from 76 to 78. Sgt Luther Witherspoon was one of our sgts in the platoon. Sgt McCamy was our platoon sgt at the time, Lt Tomb was our platoon leader and top was Greigo. Didn’t you work at the motorpool ?
By happens stance I came upon this page and my father Melvin L. Story was stationed in this Kaserne around 1955 – 1957. I have been looking for him most of my life but no luck.
If anyone knows of him or about him I would love to hear back from you. All I know about him is that he played bass in a band (maybe at the club some of you mentioned) and that he dated my mother and left Regensburg before May 1957.
I lived in Regensburg some 10 years and agree with many of you about how nice it was and still is. God bless all you service men!
there are several Melvin L. Story’s listed in the “white Pages. Age 65+
If you know his home state, you could probably find him.
Good Luck http://www.whitepages.com/
