Hallo war mit einigen Soldaten befreundet 1984 -1989 war immer im Ullis Express .Old Mill . Bistro ,Longhorn ect. wer war da auch ? suche Ron Dorcok ? Little John aus Chicago . Toni , wer war auch da ?
I do remember. I was in S-2 and then refuled the helicopters. Married Sgt Alexanand if you remember him. Always wanted to go back. Of course I wish I could do those days over also.
I was at Nellingen Kaserene from 2/59 ti 3/61. I was in the 124th Ord HM changed to GS. Was part of the 87th Ord Btn part of the 47th Ordnance Gp. &th US Army. At my time there there were 3 other Ord Companies 903, 504, 168 and then later we had the 585 PARK. Not super sure of the Ord companies. There was an Engineer Btn on the post. Those crazies spent most of their time in the field building bailey bridges and other heavy road equipment jobs. And there was a helicopter outfit (11th trans I think).
The bar outside the base at my end was La Paloma. Met the owners in this country (US) in 1998. Also hoisted a few in the Lido in Esslingen. Stuggart was great as was Bad Canstatt. Took alot of specialized training in Bad Tolz and Lengriess. Came home on the scow US Patch. What a trip.

last saw him was in 1987 when i left the army
