Yea 9th! Hello everyone from the 9th Mp Detachment. I was there on the 2nd foor at Munster Kasern from Jan 1976 to June 1977.There were good and bad time at the Kasern yet we all got along as a tight group. It did not matter if you were an MP , Infrantry, Ordance, Cook, Tranportation, Admin,Commo ,we all needed each other to get the job done from the alerts, 12 hr shifts, NATO Inspections all the time, FTX’s Convoys [Air & Land] and responding to terriost threats etc, ..We all had a job to to do as the Mission came First!! I am proud to have been there to serve with all pof you espeically as a 9th MP Detachment member and with the Infrantry group who work as a team out in the Site Area. As I worked from main post entrance main Gate to Access Control and to Tower [Tower Rats] I am proud to have served with my fellow Brothers and Sisters in Arms. ARMY STRONG!!! I lived in the Babenhausen family housing area as a dependent from 1961 to 1965. My father was stationed at Münster Kaserne, I do not remember what unity father was assigned to, but remember going there for new ID cards, picnics etc.. It was a beautiful small base.

I was with the 184th Ord Co(Ammo), out of Mannheim Turley Barracks (73-77), then Darmstat, Kelley Barracks (84-85), finally to Munster-Dieburg(did not see).
I was stationed the June 1981 – February 1982. I loved being stationed there. I meet and married my 1st husband there. He was a cook and I was an Ammo specialist with the 545th.
