    I was stationed there from 1982-1983 (two complete years) I had a great time. I was assigned to 2/66 armor. I was a cav scout back then. I had some really roudy times at the mustach club in Bhaven. I also partied at a little club off post (walking distance) but I can’t remember name of it to save my life. I made a very good german friend who was assigned to our sister unit, and finally I met a girl over there in my last 2 weeks in Germany. Damn my life would have been so different Had I met her earlier on before I PCSed back to states. One more crazy thing I am still in military after all these years (reserve) Jeez I’m getting old.

    1979 – 1981 HHC 3/41 INF the best years of my life … learned to speak German … made lots of friends in the OHZ area … road bikes everywhere … partied at Star Ship, Stages, Pam Pam, Red Balloon … woke up on a nude (FKK) beach in Cuxhaven …
    … while walking the streets of Bremerhaven the first time I thought the ladies sitting in the glass windows where live models for clothing store … and allot more funny stuff.

    Was stationed at Garlstedt from Jan 88 to Jan 90 Had a blast there in 1/41 inf.

    I was in HHC 4/41 Infantry from September ‘ 83 to March ‘ 85. If I recall, Aladdin was the heavy metal club in Bremen. The music was so loud you had to practically shout to be heard. Spent many a Saturday night there.

    I was was stationed on Lucius D. Clay Kaserne in Garlstedt. I was there from December, 1983 to December, 1984. I was a pharmacy technician and frquently worked in the clinic.

      Ursula, Ex Frauen haben kein Recht in die Akten einzusehen. Sie koennen einen Freedom of Information Act Request ans NPRC senden, werden aber null Info bekommen.
      Und das weiss ich, weil es MEIN JOB ist solche Dinger zu bearbeiten.

    I am a Dual Citizen American a. German(My Soul is more US than German) was a Employ of 2nd AD FWD Garlstedt 12 years until 1992 wenn they closed the Base,

    After that my Parents Father is a Retired Soldier US Army have get me a Butterball every year from Military Store in Germany,

    Now my Parents return to the USA Now cant get a Butterball no more,

    Is there any one can get a Butterball Turkey for me and my Family ?

    I have 4 Childrens they dont No what Butterball Turkey is and taste like

    I will pay the Cost

    approx. in 1990 I have a man got to know he was stationed in Lucius D Klay Caserne in Gallstedt. His name is Larry Eugene Shepherd in 1992 I married this man from east canton Ohio comes. When we had married he wanted to write out to back in the USA THERE HE WANTED TO LIVE IN Germany with ME. I brought him to the airport and saw in up to the present day not again white, however, by the German Red Cross he lives. I would like to find again this person once again. Who can help me today he is years old approx. 40.

      I was there in 85-86 also and I remember the plastic cards they handed out. I must have seen you there at the NCO club, me and my buddies went there on occasion. :)
