I was at Krabbenloch Kaserne from Fourth of July weekend 1989 until they moved to Heilbronn. Was still part of HHC 34th Sig through the move & the Gulf War & left in June of 1992.
I was stationed with the 70th Trans Co (Med Trk) from Nov 1956 until Apr 1958.The 70th went to France in April. From April until July of 1958 I was with the 68th Trans Co (Med Trk).Had a good time at Krabbenloch Kaserne,Buchmanns across the Strasse and downtown Ludwigsburg.
Kenneth: I was at Krabbenloch from July 56 until August 58. I was sent to the 70th Trans. Co., but was transfered to Hg. Co. 24th Trans. Bn. My MOS was changed to Clerk (7:10) and I made maps and charts for the Batallion. The 24th was changed to the 28th Trans Bn. and moved to another location and I was with the 501st until my flight home.
Assigned to Dental Clinic #9 Krabbenloch Jan 1962-Dec 1963 would love to hear from friends from that era Pfc/Spec 4. Daniels Headrick, Tardiff, Ed Early, Anderson, Brooks. Found out Clinic NCOIC during that era Spec5 V Fite passed away.

I was at the 128th from April 1964 till August ’65. I remember hearing names like Gonnsen,Roop,Ayala,Triem,Gordon, Rice,Coker. We had a doowop group called the POWs. I sang bass.
I was assigned to the 4th Surgical Hospital in Dec 1961 and later transfered to the 30th Medical Group in late 1963. I was in the personnel section in both units. I worked for a great NCO SFC James Hafer while assigned to the 30th Med Gp personnel section.
Did you ever remember a charaacter by the name of rodney tolbert? He was a “sad sack” of 128th evac. next door. Maybe you might have remembered a guy by the name of eugene bresslin of 4th surg. He ran the army education ctr. on the base. It is possible that you have less than fond memories of a major norton of 30th med gp.
Alan I do recall Eugene Bresslin. When I first got to Krabbenloch I was assigned to the 4th Surg for 2 years and then reassigned to the 30th. I was in personnel in both units so I had dealings with everyone in the 4th, 30th and the 128 Evac. The best thing I can say about Maj Norton is he was a first class jerk for a RLO (Real Live Officer). I worked for Capt Dobson and SFC Hafer and they were good folks in every way. Allen
I was stationed at Krabbenlock (34th Signal Bat.) for a few weeks then sent TDY to Kelly Barracks Stuttgart (1959-61). I’m looking for Gerard Polk. I live in PR

Those days are a truely bright spot in my life, I am proud to not only be able to say that I proudly served in the Army and served the United States of America, but that I was fortunate enough to meet and become friends with people that 22-25 years later I still hold near and dear to my heart.
