    I was assinged to 881st naint.Pioneer K. and worked at Grossauhiem K.sep. 84 till april 86 lots of good times there,spent alot of time at Willy’s ? gasthause and the rod and bottle on the river there.my mos was 32 echo radio repair anybody from the 880worst radio shop remember the old shop! by the furniture repair shop, the one that was condemmed while we were there,and “winterforge 85″ in Gessen,Cold as Hell

      I was stationed in the 8TH Maint from 1976-70.I was atationed Pioneer with the 71ST Ord Co.But the shop was on Grossauhium right across the frence from the Nuke power plant. Maybe we crossed paths send a photo of you then and I will do the same.Danke’

    I was at Pioneer/Grossauheim kaserne from 1976 until 1979. I was a UP for a while. I was a mechanic working on the 2 1/2 trucks working on brakes and then into the paint show working with a SGT Seiber. Then I became the Battalion commaders driver until I transfered out in spring of 1979. I left as a SP4. If you remember me I would love to hear from you. Thanks.

    met some great people that i think of from time to time ,881st has alot of m
    emeries but i’ve forgotten alot over the years. i’m still in califorina . ok. that’s it for now

    Looking for people stationed @ HHD-8 Mnt. Bn. from around 84-88. I remember a Spc. Ronda Daughtery (sp?) and one of her close girlfriends @ the time actually dated the 1st sgt.( kinda of secretly) Both gals where in there early 20′s both E-4. This was a very small group of people who actually lived there, maybe 30 people. Ronda was from California i remember.

      I drove that Van for SM McDonald….SGT Favors worked with me also. And yes I remember Daughtery and that other person was SP4 Archer.

      I lived there with both those girls and yes, I remember her dating our 1SGT. And the cali girls comment, they actually had that painted on their wall in pink. Those were some fun days, but oh so long ago. I stay in contact with Myrna Sabas (Spradley), David Reed, Brett and Katrina Rosene, and Dietmar Doehring. Would be good to get to see others that were there from 86-88

    my dad was stationed at patriot kaserne 32aad com 32sub com 555th maint co from 86 to 90. sent for my mom in the states in 87 and i was born at frankfurt am main U.S. army hospital in 88. any one that was stationed there then let me know pls would like to find some of my dads army buddies. would like to know as much as sumeone is willing to tell me want to find out as much about home as i can

    Was stationed in Pioneer Kaserne from 1977-1981, but worked at Grossauheim Kaserne. Great times and fond memories. Spent many an evening at Domizil. I wonder if it still exists. In search of a girl I once knew, Heike Gebauer.

      I was stationed @ grossauheim kaserne from 84-88. I did maint. for HHD, was taken in immediatly by a SSG to do basic maint. since my M.O.S. was 51-B (carpentry-masonry). Fairly cushion job. Met a young lady named Suzan Zoble, very nice gal, i worked with a guy who dated her off and on. Last name “JOCK” i believe. Drank allot of beer, most of the people living in that barracks very nice. Any one know of the where abouts of any one stationed there @ that point? My memory is terrible, mainly due to an auto accident in 09. Any informatino would be great!!

      Hey John Schmitz, I remember you. Your roommate way Al Kern. I was roomates with Al until you both got a promotion and they wanted you two to room together after that, so I moved into a room with Dietmar Doehring. I even still have a few pictures of you. How have you been doing?

    I was in the 19th Maint company August 74 to November 75.I’ve been a UP and worked at Groosalhiem Keserne.I also attended Pioneer Chapel.If anyone remembers, please write. I’d love too see my old friends, or at least to hear from them.

    I was stationed in grossauheim July 1982- November 1982 worked in a typing pool of about 20 other people in 8th Maintenance HHd. if any body remembers me please write or email me got stationed to Pioneer Kerserne in Nov 82 to may 82 got medivac to states than. i live in 820 Shugart Rd. C-3 Dalton,Georgia 30720 Im 58 now i was 29 than hope to hear from you.

    My name is Geoff Baker, I was stationed at Grossauheim Kaserne roughly 1968-69. I was Courts and Boards Clerk in HHD, S-1, 8th Maint Btn, V COSCOM, USAREUR. HHD was a small unit with approximately 30 enlisted men billeted across the walk from the HQs building. At that time most units were transported from Pioneer Kaserne to Grossauheim for duty in the AM by 2 1/2 ton trucks. Only the 507th HEM and HHD lived on the kaserne. We had SMALL EM club located across the tracks behind our barracks and a snack bar on the end of the HQs. Other units were: 543rd HEM, 881st LEM, 296th CC&S (Collection Classification & Salvage).

      I was stationed at Grossauheim Kaserne around June 1969 – Nov. 1970. I worked in the mail room and message center HHD, 8th Maint Btn. I remember the snack bar and the sugar shack across the tracks (EM club.

      I was stationed there from 1965 to June 1967. I was chief S-1 clerk and handled stuff for Colonel Siewert and Smaj Paul J Stone.
      We called the EM club the chapel. I also remember the snack bar and that lousy 10 cent beer.
      Did you ever go to the Luna Bar in downtown Grossauheim? Pete Carman

      I was with the 881st Maintenance Company and worked in Grossauheim in the first building on the left hand side as you entered the front gate. I worked with supply.

      Hi, believe I remember you – blond hair (crew cut I think). I drove a tank transporter and at one point I worked in the shop office. Got married in Grosskrotzenburg, Hubert Frazier was my best man. Lived in room 208, with Al Buckley, Steinhagen, Dobbs, and others. Sgt Cross was my boss, also remember Amos F. Amos (we called him Famous Amos) :) Those were the good old days. Stayed in, was a First Sgt, ended-up as Branch Chief of CMS 63, at Milpercen, Washington DC. Drop a line!     chief S-1 clerk battalion headquarters. Just re-connected with Orest Kochan S-2 in Palm Springs November 2nd. 43 years, boy thats a long time.

    Stationed in Hanau area 1968 thru 1971. Assigned to 543d HEM Co, 8th Maint Bn initially, then reassigned to S-2/S-3 of 8th Maint Bn Hq, both on Grossauheim Kaserne. Anyone out there that was at Grossauheim during this period send me an email.

      it seems though i recall you for some reason but i was stationed at 26 s&s co on pioneer kaserne, during the years of 1987 to about 1990 , i think this is the kaserne i worked on in a huge warehouse, i drove an old yellow mercedes, if you know me send me an email. thanks rosie jackson
