There was afellow that was killed by a forklift between 1980-81 from Co.226th. He was a private was not in the country 5 months and got killed while he and his wife were privates. I need to know if anyone remember.
I too, was a Member of the Fighting 307th ASA BN! Remember lots of people there; met my Future Husband, John Kreuzer, Draftsman, with 1st Maintenance BN, while stationed there. SSG Bill Orr, (see previous cmt), and I worked together as well. STILL can remember the Pink Motor Pool and the “fun” times at the WAC Shack, as well. (1974-1977)
1974 – 1977 307th ASA Bn(CEWI). Met a lot people while at Flak. I still have friends from there with whom still corresponding. Because we were a small unit we stayed close to each other. Had quite a few fun times during the summer at the river races and also the volks marches. If you were there during this time frame please respond.
Guess we were at Flak Kaserne at the same time. I was stationed there with the 590th Trans Co from Nov 65 to May 68 and then reassigned to Korea for the remainder of my time. If you could only see Flak Kaserne now. Only three (3) buildings are left; main guard, community club and gym. Everything else has been torn down and rebuilt for apartments for the German folks.
