  1. I was with the 493 rd from 89-92 motor pool went to desert storm and colorado , Im on facebook with a few others from the 493rd.

    • I was in 493rd from ’88-’90. POL. I was Ledbetter but, then JAG helped change my name back to Forrester. Didn’t go to Desert Storm. Captain Smith helped me out. I hung out in motorpool a lot with Pemberton and Pat Pennyman working on our trucks. You can contact me. I am on facebook.

  3. I was stationed with US MILCOM at Faulenberg from June 1977 thru June 1987. Had numerous positions (SP&O, DEH and 1SG) Was transferred to 297PSC at Leighton until I retired in January 1989. For those counting, I was in the 3rdID for 11 years 7 months. Many great memories during my Germany tour.

  4. I worked in the orderly room of the 493rd from April 1980 to September 1984. Met a lot of people there. Still have contact with a small number of them (5) to be exact. Still in the Army reserve. Lol.

  5. I was in the 493rd from april 87 to october 89 in supply platoon

  6. We used to take our 5 dogs to the vet at Faulenberg Kaserne. They all had their immunizations there and neutered there. It was wonderful to have an Army Veterinary Clinic in the vicinity, as the off post vets were very expensive. Since we had 5 dogs, we visited the vet often!!

  7. I was one of the cooks who first worked at 493rd’s Eagles’ Inn Dining Fac. I was stationed there 1983-85.. Looking for any of my fellow food service to touch bases with.

I was stationed at Leighton barracks with Co B 95th S&S in 1971 to 1973 near the end of my time 1973 the company changed from VII corp to 2nd Support brigade and to the 493 but we always worked in Faulenberg ks. Remember having to walk through the bombed out buildings at front of ks. Used to see lights in building windows on third floor trouble was no floors in buildings

    • Was Stationed In Wurzburg 1962 -1965 with B Company, 95th QM Bn at Leighton Barracks worked at Faulenburg Kersene as NCOIC of Class 1
      In summer walked from barracks (fense down on ground) down the steep
      hill across the rail tracks , cross the street to the front gate and to work,
      The German Civilian Guards lived in the Large Barracks to the far right
      of the kaserene, No GI’s lived on Faulenburg at that time.

  9. My father Sgt John Bernard Cummins Cole was with the 32nd Signal BN
    (ANY MISSION, ANY TIME, ANY PLACE) Darmstadt 1960 to August 1962
    at 1966 t0 1968 he was with 173rd in Vietnam has make School as a Helicopter Pilot was of the Rank CW-3 Died 1968 of the age 29 year old in Service,

    Is there any Soldier who was with my father Unit or know him ?

    • Worked with Off Post Housing Referral (Housing) (HRO) on Olm Str. maybe we found you a place to reside off base.

    • I was stationed there from 83-86. Worked in the motorpool.

  16. Stationed with 493rd S&S Co. with SPC Frank Peña in the SSA. I think it was 1985-1986. I made SPC5 there then was transferred to Schweinfurt, GE

  17. Looking for Rose or Rosalyn WILLIAMS stationed at Faulenberg ks, at the 493rd S&S Co, she had two daughters and went to a language school in Texas. she was our best friend
