   I was stationed at Downs Barracks Fulda 1972-1974 A&C Troop. I was also a guard at the NATO 26 site. Spent a lot of time at OP Alpha.

   Tom Freeman is correct!
   Name is Downs Barracks, across the main Highway on a hill approximatley 1 and a half miles distant line of sight was Sickles Army Air Field.

   I servied there from 1979-1985.

   I served here from 1985 through 1989. It’s called Downs Barracks, NOT Blackhorse Kaserne. GO ARMY!!!

     nco club downs barracks +the herkules
     remember that ? good times
