Hi, my nam is Monique, earlier Alia Rose. I’m desperate search for my dad. His name is Ronnie Norman. If you know something about him, I would be glad for some information.
Hello,
I am searching for Gerald F. Meiers/ Iowa. Maybe he is my father. I was born in Worms at 27. October 1956. My mothers name is Hildegard Bingenheimer and she worked in the Taukkunen Barracks/Worms in the kitchen. She died, when I was 11 years old and so I couldn’t ask her about my father. It were so great, if somebody knows this man. He was stationed in Baumholder 30.November 1955 – 01.June 1957 A Battery 868 Field Artillery Battalion
Started my army career in Baumholder in 1979-1982 at 2/68 Armor. Anybody else out there that remembers that Jeffrey Dahmer was in 2/68 at that time? If you remember me would love to converse. I worked in PAC and probably signed you in or out (or both) of the unit. LTC T. Rittenour was the Bn Cdr while I was there.
Tim, I know many people that met Jeffrey Dahmer in Baumholder. I myself have met him and would like to talk to you about him. Please call me at 954-458-3282 or you may email me at WillisMorgan@AOL.com
I was in 8th MP detachment in BK 60-61 There is a MP facebook page go to it and contact Leroy Imler he runs MP reunion and has a very big list of ex MP’s
I was in Baumholder in 1973 for a short time. Had issues with the unit (drugs). Any body heard of a shooting of soldiers in the barracks during that time. A friend of mind was killed.
Never lived in Baumholder but was a dependent in Mainz. I have to say that Baumholder had a kick ass bantam leauge football team, they came down and beat the crap outta us 72-0 or something like that. It’s one a$$ whipping I’ll never forget as long as I live…
I was with 3rd armored cav. regt. nov. 1961- nov. 1963. shipped from ft. meade md. to Baumholder. Djd border patrol at fulda gap. I remember some great times at the french army canteen. hated hearing that alarm go off at 3 a. m. and climbing that damn hill to the motor pool.
