anyone here who knows my father James “Jimmy” Ben Jackson. Last time I saw him at the age of 8 at Heilbronn Barracks (don´t know which one, sorry). Must be 1954. After that contact was forbidden by military law, my mother decided that way. I am born February 1946 at small town near Bonn called Volmershoven. I had a picture of him but its gone. I´m sure my mother dropped it. What is left is only a beloved memorie. Thanks for any help.

I was at Badenerhof from December 1959 to the end of July 1960, with the 507th Army Security Agency (ASA) Group. Then I was transferred north to the Heidwinkel outpost. I was back a few times, most recently after Badenerhof was turned over to the Germans and demolished for residential construction of homes and apartments. I have posted a few photos on Flickr, which you can find by searching the site.
Lived in Bonn. Went back to visit and things were very different. No sign of anything! Redleg is now a park with a tiny marker at the location of the accident. Spent many a days guarding that place.
Pershing B4/9 FA 56th Brde
visited here a week ago—totally changed–the Kaserne as it was is not there–actually there is no trace of it–it is all housing–but the surrounding area is the same–it was stange and intersting to visit
